As we wrap up yet another successful season of Kokkedoor, the director says “cheers”, the crew starts rolling up the cables, the chefs head home to their families, and one big question remains unanswered:

during filming downtime?

Located at the esteemed Atlantic Studios in Cape Town, Fork It is what we call the Kokkedoor kitchen when the cameras aren’t rolling. It’s here where we offer you the unique opportunity to learn the tricks of the culinary trade, meet your favourite TV chef, and even host your very own blockbuster event.
Self-efficient with own generators, so not affected by load shedding and has convenient secure parking.

 

Fork It is not just another creative space,
it’s your creative space.

Fork It is a collaboration between Homebrew Studios and chef Anthony Mayer prior to becoming a chef consultant at Homebrew Films, Anthony made a name for himself cooking for various celebrities, as well as leading the culinary charge  of his own restaurant, He has worked in top VIP villas in Camps Bay, Llandudno, Constantia and beyond. He describes his style of cooking as South African with the international influences of the Mediterranean, Morocco, The Middle East, and the Far East – all countries he’s visited and fallen in love with over the years.

Fork It is the next step in Anthony’s journey, and he looks forward to meeting you at one of his interactive cooking classes.
